What's New?
From time to time First Nations Wildcrafters BC has released a position paper or other
publication for consideration in the discussions regarding various aspects of the work we do.
We have added a "FNW Publications" directory to our website where we will be placing our
publications. We retain all copyrights to our publications.
One of the first documents we will be placing in this new directory is a document entitled
"Forest Farming Agroforestry in BC---A Beneficial Management Practice or a New Forest
Tenure in BC?". We believe this document is important due to discussions related to creating
a new forest tenure in British Columbia called an agroforestry tenure. The implications of this
type of tenure are huge in scope and thus the need we felt to publish a response to a proposed
agroforestry tenure creation.
We are in the process of a complete redesign of our website, facebook, youtube and linked-in
social media and other communication tools. We will be adding capacity for archiving of
relevant documents and the capacity for delivering live webinars and streaming videos of the
work and training we do. We look forward to better integrating technology in the work we do.
